I didn’t know that Google had adsense in Chinese. I got a piece of spam from the far east today. It was in my gmail spam folder and just for kicks, I opened it to see what crap they were selling, when low and behold, Google matched up a Google Ad for it. I decided to take a snap shot of it:

Anyone know what the heck is being sold here? I wonder if the standards for the advertisements in China are as strict as they are here in the United States.

I’ve recently come acrossed a very interesting search engine called Ms. Dewey. I think this is the hottest search engine I’ve ever seen. This is the first of it’s kind search engine I’ve seen, where a live human is taking your search request. Not just any human either, you get Ms. Dewey, which has to be the best version of a naughty librarian I’ve ever seen, lol.
All jokes aside though, the site is well done in flash, and I’m not sure how the results are being produced yet, it might just be using another search engine’s api. In either case, this is definately one of the nicer search interfaces. In addition, doing different types of searches evokes Ms. Dewey to say or do something different. Search for something adult related and you might get a special response from her. Definately take a look. You heard it first at the Amazon Web Services Blog.
